MEDITATION FOR SUCCESS

You can always meditate your way to success

Meditation can be a powerful tool for achieving success in both personal and professional settings. Here are some potential benefits of incorporating meditation into your routine:

Improved focus and concentration: By regularly practicing meditation, you can learn to quiet the mind and increase your ability to focus and concentrate on a single task. This can be especially beneficial in a busy, fast-paced world where distractions are everywhere.

Increased creativity and problem-solving abilities: Meditation can help to clear the mind and allow for more creative thinking and problem-solving. It can also help to reduce stress and anxiety, which can sometimes inhibit creative thinking.

Better decision-making skills: Regular meditation can help to improve your ability to make decisions by increasing your clarity of thought and reducing emotional reactivity. This can be especially helpful in high-pressure situations where quick, decisive action is required.

Enhanced self-awareness: One of the primary goals of meditation is to cultivate self-awareness. By regularly practicing meditation, you can gain a better understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, which can help you make positive changes in your life.

Improved overall well-being: In addition to the specific benefits listed above, regular meditation can also lead to improved overall well-being. It can help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and promote a sense of calm and relaxation.

To get started with meditation, try finding a quiet space where you can sit or lie down comfortably. Begin by focusing on your breath and trying to quiet your mind. It's normal for thoughts to arise, but try to let them pass without getting too caught up in them. Start with a few minutes of meditation each day and gradually increase the length of your sessions as you become more comfortable.

There are many different meditation techniques and styles, so feel free to experiment and find what works best for you. With regular practice, you can start to experience the benefits of meditation and incorporate it into your daily routine for success.

The Prophet Gibran Kahlil. Chapter 27 On Death

Chapter 27  On Death  THEN Almitra spoke, saying, “We would ask now of Death.” And he said: You would know the secret of death. But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life? The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light. If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life. For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one. IN the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity. Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honour. Is the shepherd not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king? Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling? For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to...
